MUSIC PROFILE INTRODUCTION:

 

Ozichi Omotade is a Recording artiste, Worship Leader, Creative writer and Worship team coach.

 

She is well known for her original songs “Oroma” a beautiful ballad story about an orange seller, "Our Father" an Afrocentric worship song, as well as her soulful-rendition acoustic covers, including the popular favorites “You are my strength” and “Olorun to da awon”.

All her songs including recent releases “FRESH FIRE”, and “SECRET PLACE”, and acoustic covers can be found on Youtube, iTunes and other digital platforms.

 

  

MUSIC BACKGROUND:

OZICHI’s rich musical experience evolved from a fuse of orthodox and Pentecostal church background. This multi-denominational exposure gave her musical versatility, the opportunity of understanding worship culture from a wider view, and years of experience in the effective management of a variety of music creative teams.

Her musical works have been successfully recognised both in the church circles and in Corporate Branding industry.

MINISTRY EXPERIENCE:

Ozichi has also enjoyed a thriving career as a Music Director, and creative songwriter for individual artistes and corporate brands (see Music Page to listen to songs and jingles).

 

She has served in the area of Music Directing for over 20 years, most recently at The Elevation Church Lagos Nigeria for 6 years as their Music Director, and currently as Worship and Creative Coordinator with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) St Albans, England (see LinkedIn profile for more)

She has been privileged to lead worship on same platforms with Bob Fitts, Ron Kenoly, Pstr.Wale Adenuga, Cobham Asuquo, Nathaniel Bassey and other well-known Gospel artistes.

On separate occasions for a worship event,  she had the opportunity to work directly with Bob Fitts and Ron Kenoly, assisting with their background vocalists directing.

PERSONAL LIFE

Ozichi is happily married to Kayode Omotade, and they are blessed with two lovely daughters. They currently reside in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
